The slots only casino keeps Jai Alai alive, (which in turn allows the casino to operate). I knew little about Jai Alai until watching a 15min ESPN short called 'What the Hell Happened to Jai Alai?'

Notable past performers include the Allman Brothers Band, Black Sabbath, Bruce Springsteen, Frank Sinatra, Santana and Grateful Dead.[2] In the past, the arena has been used 89 times for boxing events, including many involving famous former world champion boxers. After a bankruptcy, an affiliate of ABC Funding acquired Casino Miami Jai-Alai in 2014.[3]
